FENI-X is an interdisciplinary research project focused on boosting resilience in global production networks through new manufacturing methods and digital technologies. The project aims to develop robust production systems capable of swiftly responding to disruptions. 

Key applications include additive manufacturing, digital health cards for production systems, and digital twins of production networks. The project also emphasizes methods that help companies assess the “X factor,” improving preparedness against uncertainties. 

FENI-X introduces key innovations, such as digital twins that anticipate disruption scenarios and digital health cards for continuous system monitoring. These approaches enhance flexibility and robustness in production processes, offering companies the tools to react efficiently to changes and strengthen their market position.

Our Contribution to FENI-X

HAHN Automation Group is actively contributing to the FENI-X initiative through the development of innovative solutions like the Digital Health Pass, which serves as a comprehensive health card for production systems. 

This tool allows for continuous monitoring of system performance, enabling proactive maintenance and ensuring that production lines remain efficient and resilient against potential disruptions.
