On January 31, 2026, John Hanna retired as President and CEO of HAHN Automation Group US, Inc. and leadership of the region has transitioned to Dan Cremer.
John Hanna co-founded Invotec Engineering, Inc., driven by a passion for helping others achieve their goals. After spending ten years in the manufacturing industry as a technical engineer, he and his business partner, Daryl Greywitt, started Invotec with a shared vision to solve manufacturing challenges like those they had experienced by developing innovative equipment solutions.
In 1993, Invotec officially launched as a small design firm in a 3,000-square-foot office condo. Under John and Daryl’s leadership, the company grew into an organization with over 100 employees across three facilities and more than 100,000 square feet of production space.
With 35 years in the manufacturing industry, John’s background as a technical engineer shaped his fascination with transforming raw materials into products of value. Combining his technical expertise with an MBA, he helped build a company culture where employees are encouraged to turn ideas into tangible solutions—contributing to the development of life-changing products.
Invotec joined the HAHN Automation Group in 2017 and officially became HAHN Automation Group US, Inc. in 2024.
After more than 30 years with Invotec and over eight years with HAHN, John now begins his well-earned retirement. We sincerely thank him for his his dedication, leadership, and many contributions to shaping our success in the US.
At the same time, we are setting the course for the future: Dan Cremer, President is taking over leadership for the North American sites of HAHN Automation Group. This seamless transition ensures stability, continuity, and a clear direction for the years ahead.
